SPARACINO, Vickie Lynn, 65, of Weeki Wachee, Florida, died Monday, May 24, 2021.
She was born January 22, 1956 in Hamilton, Ohio and came to Weeki Wachee 17 years ago from Eaton Rapids, Michigan. She proudly served her country in the United States Army National Guard achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and retiring after 20 years of dedicated service.
She is survived by her daughters: Susan (Bill) Williams of Ionia, Michigan; Heather (Adam) Reznik of Waterford, Michigan; son: Curtis Sparacino of Weeki Wachee, Florida; sisters: Debrah (Roy) Perez, Darlene (Bob) Little, Brenda (Bob) Hope; brothers: Arthur Couch, Theodore Jr. and Carl Webb, all of Florida. Three grandchildren; Wyatt, Henry & Caroline and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Michael Sparacino; Mother: Helen Couch; and Father: Theodore Webb.
Vickie loved her family, dogs and horses. She was an avid trail and obstacle rider participating in many clinics and obstacle challenges including with the Southern Obstacle Challenge Association.
She loved to volunteer her time especially when her daughters showed horses. She was the 4-H leader of Blazing Saddles in Ingham County (Michigan) as well as the Eaton Rapids High School Equestrian Team Coach. In addition to her daughters’ clubs, Vickie volunteered with the Ingham County Mounted Division.
After retiring from the Michigan Army National Guard, she spent many years traveling the country by RV before settling in Weeki Wachee with her husband, Mike. It was here that she discovered and became an active member in her beloved church, Stable Faith Cowboy Church.
Vickie was known for her kind heart, independence, and bare feet! She was loved and will be missed by many. To honor Vickie's giving spirit, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to:
