PARROTT, Thomas "Tommy" Allen, 68, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1952 in Paintsville, Kentucky and came to Brooksville 67 years ago. He served in the United States National Guard for six years and deployed to Panama during the Panama Conflict. Tommy served as a church deacon for many years and was a member of Hillside Community Baptist Church. He was a Five Star Journeyman/Lineman for 17 years with WREC and for 10 years with Novinium Inc., Northeastern State Division while he owned and operated T.A. Parrott Trucking Company for 21 years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lola Roberts Parrott and his father, William Drayton Parrott and his biological father, L.C. Davis, whom he loved both very much. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Judy Parrott; sons, Terry Parrott of Brooksville, Florida, Stephen Tyre of Crystal River, Florida, and Adam Remondelli of Brooksville, Florida; daughter, Lisa Morgan of Brooksville, Florida; stepson, Timothy Powers of Whittsville, Kentucky; stepdaughters, Dawn Drown of Huntington, West Virginia and Tammy Mullins of Grayson, Kentucky; brother, Drayton Parrott of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Patricia Ann Auton of Ridge Manor, Florida; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00pm, Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 2:00pm, with Pastor Joe Santerelli officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, March 8, 2021 at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
