TABER, Stanley S., 98, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his home.
He was born August 10, 1923 in Clintondale, New York and came to Brooksville 19 years ago from Greensboro, Maryland. He served his country in the United States Army Air Force, was an World War II Veteran, and faithfully served as Pastor in The Wesleyan Church in Gloversville, New York.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 73 years, Betty A. Taber of Brooksville, Florida; son, Kenneth Taber of Mooers Forks, New York; daughters, Carol Dotson of Denver, Pennsylvania and Sara McKay of Fulton, New York; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Ila Taber, brother Hervey W. Taber, and sister, Jesse Klob.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30pm-1:00pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, where Services begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor Kenneth Taber and Pastor Jerry Pence officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brooksville Wesleyan Church, Global Partners (Mission), or the HPH Hospice Care Center. Contact information is listed below.
