ESTRADA, Robert, age 71, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on July 11, 2021 after a long battle with lung cancer and other illnesses.
He was born in New York, New York, grew up in Hicksville, New York and moved to Spring Hill in 2005. Robert served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1968 until 1970 and then served in the Marine Reserves until 1974. He served his country well. He worked for the Sheet Metal Workers #28 Union until 2003 when he was then completely disabled. Even being disabled Robert still found time to take care of his home that he shared with his beloved wife Dee. Robert had a love for the game of pool as a professional player and competed in tournaments in Hernando County APA as well as Las Vegas, Nevada.
Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years: Dee; two stepdaughters: Janine Fullerton and Kimberly Amodio; his beloved granddaughter: Juvia Guzman; He also had a dog, Meshu, that he loved dearly. He had a great pool family and they have been extremely supportive during his rough time. He will be deeply missed by his wife and family.
His family has asked in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the Cancer Society of America. Please be advised that there will be no viewing as Robert's wish was to be cremated. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Semper Fi.
