Richard J. Miller, M.D., 97, of Floral City, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Born August 1, 1924 in Kincaid, Illinois, he moved to Florida in 1954 with his wife, Helen. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a retired surgeon, and member of Shrine Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima and St. Cajetan Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Richard & Leslie Miller of Inverness, Florida and William & Lori Miller of Istachatta, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law: Ellen & James Sewell of Concord, North Carolina, Emily & Woodson Dierlam of Safety Harbor, Florida, and Josephine Miller of Safety Harbor, Florida; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen and son, Franklin Miller.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, Monday, Augusut 1, 2022 at Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima and St. Cajetan Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Nature Coast.
