Obituary

MCCARTHY, Martin J., age 83, of Brooksville, Florida died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and came to the area 21 years ago from W. Boylston, Massachusetts. He was an engineer in the valve industry and Catholic by faith.

Marty was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Carol. They were a couple who truly enjoyed each other's company and were always together. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was always there to offer advice and a helping hand. He enjoyed golf and reading in his spare time and had a gift for telling jokes. Making people laugh was his gift to his friends. Marty will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
