PENNING, Judith Lynn, 78, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Advent Health Wesley Chapel.
She was born February 9, 1944 in Greendale, Wisconsin and came to Brooksville 17 years ago from New Tampa, Florida. She was a devoted homemaker caring for her husband and family and a real estate agent for Prudential Florida Realty in Tampa, Florida. Her passion was interior design and she enjoyed the wine club and playing bridge and bunco. She loved spending time with her three grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas F. Penning; her parents, LaFerne and Evelyn Vetter; and grandson, Aaron Penning. She is survived by her son, Andrew Penning of St. Petersburg, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Michael Pendelton of Spring Hill, Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Renee & James Sommers of Markesan, Wisconsin and Victory Carmen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Danielle Pendelton and MaKenna Pendelton, both of Spring Hill, Florida.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:30-11:00am, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Services begin at 11:00am, with Reverend Thomas Almond officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greendale Historical Society at 5680 Broad Street, Greendale, WI 53129.
