Dr. William B. Holbrook, 78, of Floral City, Florida, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at the HPH Hospice Care Center.
Born April 29, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jesse and Ruth Holbrook. He grew up in Orlando, Florida and has lived in the Floral City area since 1977. He had a successful dental practice in Brooksville, Florida for 45 years. He was well known for his caring and friendly personality. He enjoyed fishing and guitars and was happiest spending time with his family. He touched many lives and will surely be missed.
Dr. Holbrook is preceded in death by his daughter, Lorie Holbrook, his parents, and his brother, Steve Holbrook. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sandra Sue Holbrook; sons, David Holbrook of Orlando, Florida and James "Jimmy" Holbrook of San Diego, California; daughter, Kelly Holbrook of Tampa, Florida; sister, Ruth Ann Novak; five grandchildren, Madison, McGwire, Hayden, Travis, and Tanner Holbrook.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00pm, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 5:00pm, with Reverend David Hope officiating.
