BARE, Delphia Marie, 65, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home.
She was born January 5, 1956 in Goodrich, Michigan and came to Brooksville 28 years ago from Griffith, Indiana. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary where she served as an active member since 1995. She served the Disabled American Veterans and wore many hats over the years including Past Unit Commander and Adjutant, Past State Commander, VAVS (Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service) and many others. She was Baptist by faith and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by parents, James & Billie Vanover; her daughter, Sonya Cardwell (Bare); and her brother, Randy Vanover. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bare Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. & Cheryl Bare; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha Forgione & Frank Forgione III; brothers, William Vanover and Charles Henry Vanover; grandchildren, William Greene (Hanna), James Greene (Shelby Weaver), and Robert Weir; great-grandchildren, Annabeth Greene, Uriah Greene, and Ariella Greene; and many more that she claimed as her children and grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church Brooksville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church or the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA).
