Cynthia Appleby

June 18, 1952 ~ March 25, 2022 (age 69)

APPLEBY, Cynthia, 69, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022.
“Cynthia”, “Mom”, “Aunt Do”, or however you knew her, you definitely could not help but LOVE HER.  She lived her life exactly how she chose to and did not let anyone change that.  At different times throughout her life all of her family tried, and she was stubborn and held her own…LOL.
She held her family very close to her heart. She loved them, all her kids, siblings, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, grandkids, and one great-granddaughter.  She talked about them often. She loved animals of all types and they all needed to be pets and spoiled.  Frogs were her favorite.  She collected them and she even worked for a frog farm for a while.  Where did we get “Aunt Do”? The first great nephew (Jeffrey) gave that to her.  He tried to say “LuLu” and it came out “Aunt DoDo,” it was shortened, and it stuck.
The hole in our hearts will be filled with the memory of her contagious laugh.
Fly High Aunt Do! You will be missed.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, James Daniel Lollie; mother, Lucile Lillian Lollie; brother, Raymond Lollie; sister-in-Law, Connie Lollie; nephew, Jeffrey Lynch Sr.  She is survived by son, James Lollie & his wife Jeannette Lollie; daughter, Becky Scarborough; brother, Wayne Lollie & his wife Darlene Lollie; grandchildren, David Burnette, Nicholas Lollie, Mercedes Scarborough; great-granddaughter, Rayna Scarborough; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held soon.  The family would like to ensure that all who want to attend will have time to plan.  The dates will be announced as soon as they are available.  The family encourages you to leave memories you have of her on the tribute wall.
