It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Ann Jungbauer Lovaas announce her passing on 9/8/2021 at her home in Brooksville, Florida. Carol was born on January 26th, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota to James and Beverly Ann (Mickschl) Jungbauer and was 64 years old.
She had recently retired from a 30 year career at Accessible Space where she was the Manager for many group homes and moved to Florida to be Livin’ The Dream.
She was a very caring person with an infectious and contagious smile and laugh. Her heart was immeasurable! Everyone Carol came in contact with – she left a mark on their heart.
Carol was very dedicated to helping the disabled throughout her life journey. She was also very involved with Special Olympics.
Carol was extremely talented and passionate about many things. She loved music, jewelry and traveling the world. She enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful skating outfits for many and bedazzling them. She loved to “Shop Till You Drop”.
Carol is survived by her husband Mark Lovaas, her brothers – Steven (Erin) Jungbauer, Michael (Vicki) Jungbauer and Donald (Diana) Jungbauer. Carol had no children of her own and truly loved all her nieces and nephews and their children dearly. She is also survived by many loving in-laws and a host of longtime friends.
Carol was an angel here on Earth and now she is an angel in Heaven watching over us all and will be truly missed.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on October 23rd, 2021 at 11 am at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel with Pastor Paul Castelli of Crosspoint Church officiating.
