TANISH, Benjamin J., 96, of Spring Hill, Florida, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born February 25, 1924 in Fredonia, New York and came to the area 18 years ago from New Hampshire. He was a United States Army veteran, a claims manager for Allstate Insurance for 26 years and a member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife: Beverly S. Tanish; son: George Tanish of Hawaii; stepson: Richard O'Connor of Spring Hill, Florida; stepdaughter and son-in-law: Tammy & John Hazel of Port Richey, Florida; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
