HORSEFIELD, Thomas F., 96, of Brooksville, Florida, entered into heavenly peace on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Bayfront Health Brooksville.
Born January 3, 1923 in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Sidney and Frances (Casey) Horsefield. He came to Brooksville 13 years ago from Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles in Nova Scotia where he worked as an examiner and safety inspector. He was a faithful servant to the Lord and a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church where he dedicated much of his time to the church’s Care Group and served as an usher. He loved his family and enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Bettine; daughters, Karen Horsefield of Amherst, Nova Scotia and Susan McNinnis of Halifax, Nova Scotia; stepdaughter, Gail Howes; stepsons, Nigel Barrable and Malcolm Barrable; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Jerry Pence officiating.
