CHAMPION, Gladys A., 90, of Brooksville, passed away, Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
She was born July 4, 1927 in Greenfield, Florida and was the daughter of the late James W. Asbel and Naomi Goodman Asbel. She was a lifelong resident of this area, a bus driver for the Martin County School System and a faithful member of Living Word Fellowship Church.
She is preceded in death by her four brothers and two grandsons. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Manuel & Mary Snipes of Valdosta, Georgia; daughters and son-in-law: Deborah Culberson of Mango, Florida and Virginia & Jose Barbosa of Brooksville, Florida; sister and brother-in-law: Susie & Kenneth Mitchem of Valrico, Florida; grandchildren: Melanie Allen, Sonya Harrell and Jessica Corbett; great-grandchildren: Richard Kormondy, Shelby Fowler, Miranda Harrell and Katherine Snyder; great-great-grandchild: Sophia Kormondy.
