CHAPMAN, Brenda Carole, 66, of Lutz, Florida passed away January 7, 2020.
Born November 27, 1953 in Brooksville, Florida and raised in Hillsborough County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Roy & Evelyn (Jackson) Chapman.
Brenda is the beloved sister of Elaine Moore (John), Bruce Chapman and Mike Chapman (Judy) and loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda adored her family, friends and her two dogs, Sydney who passed away four years ago and Kodiak who was at her side when she passed. Brenda declared at a very young age that she would never eat meat again and took a lot of kidding especially in the 1950’s; however, Brenda remained a lifelong Vegan. Brenda was a graduate of Tampa Tech and University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology. Brenda resided in Asheville for 30 years and was a longtime dedicated counselor for children at Blue Ridge Mental Health.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 2:00pm, with Reverend Dewey Huffstutler officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
