CALLERI, Anna Mary, 72, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the HPH Hospice Care Center.
She was born July 20, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York and came to Spring Hill 34 years ago from Massapequa, Long Island, New York. She was a homemaker, an active parishioner of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, a member of the Democratic Party and a member of the American Legion. She ran for School Board of Hernando County (losing by only one vote) and the Florida State Senate.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael "Mike" Calleri; son, Michael Calleri of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Marie & Lonnie Holley of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchild, Rachel Calleri; great-grandchildren, Nataliya Calleri and Michel Angelo Harvey. She is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph V. Plaia.
A Visitation for family and friends will take place from 6:00-8:00pm, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where Funeral Services will begin at 7:00pm.
