HOUK, Nancy Lee, 79, of Brooksville, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at her home.
She was born May 7, 1938 in Bellaire, Ohio and came to this area 17 years ago from Stongsville, Ohio. She was a field supervisor for the United States Census Bureau in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed a very social life and loved her family and friends. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Brooksville Garden Club, and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ronald L. Houk; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Heather Houk of San Diago, California; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Tom Holschbach of Columbus, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Madalyn Wolfe of Summerville, South Carolina; sister, Joyce Cerney of La Porte, Texas; four grandchildren, Melia Houk, Mason Houk, Lauren Holschbach, Morgan Holschbach.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Edd Denton officiating. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be served at 1:00pm, Friday, August 11, 2017 at First United Methodist Church Social Hall.
